One of the biggest outdoor events in the city of Leeds’ calendar, Leeds Asian Festival 2011 attracted over 10,000 people. And G&T proudly organised the whole thing - lock, stock and bhangra.
In a summer already packed with exciting outdoor events, our challenge was to design and deliver a Leeds Asian Festival to remember.
Leeds Asian Festival 2011 was set in the leafy splendour of Roundhay Park and played host to 10,000 revellers keen to celebrate the best of Asian culture and tradition. Our job was to deliver every aspect of the event, managing the project from start to finish.
Our role included production and site management, licensing, health and safety, security, crewing, programming and managing artists and performers, and VIP dressing.
